United Hebrew has been recognized as a Best Nursing Home 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report for both long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitative care! Only 16% of skilled nursing facilities in the entire country achieved this coveted designation.

Of nearly 12,000 nursing homes evaluated, only 475 made the list of the highest performing performing nursing homes.

Montefiore Health System Skilled Nursing Collaborative
United Hebrew was chosen to participate in the Montefiore Health System Skilled Nursing Collaborative, a highly selective group of facilities to which Montefiore sends patients following their hospital discharge. United Hebrew was selected based on safety, quality, care for residents with complex conditions, service, and patient satisfaction.

Bronze Quality Award, American Health Care Association / National Center for Assisted Living

The award signifies that United Hebrew has been designated as one of the top 825 extended care facilities out of over 15,000 across the nation, and one of just 25 extended care facilities in New York State to receive this designation and the only facility in Southern Westchester.
Ranked in 1st Quintile, New York State Quality Pool Indicators
United Hebrew frequently earns a place in the top tier of nursing home rankings in New York. Based on quality, compliance, and efficiency measures, we were ranked among the 1st Quintile by New York State Quality Pool Indicators in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Eli Pick Award, American College of Healthcare Administrators
This honor was presented to United Hebrew in 2016, 2017, and 2018. It’s given to top-performing skilled nursing facilities that earn excellent reviews by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. The award is earned by fewer than nine percent of nursing homes nationwide.
National Association of Home Builders Platinum Achievement Award
Willow Towers Assisted Living was recognized for design excellence for its state-of-the-art facility, which includes a two-story, glass-enclosed dining atrium, community rooms, a 24-hour café, and the Phoenix Memory Care Neighborhood, a secure, specialized unit for residents with Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
Distinguished Service Award
Presented by Visiting Nurse Service of Westchester in 2015, this award recognized Rita Mabli, United Hebrew President and CEO, as a champion of senior citizens.
Golden Harvest Award
The Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services bestowed this honor in 2014 upon Rita Mabli, United Hebrew President and CEO, for her outstanding and lasting contributions to Westchester’s seniors.
Brother Arthur A. Loftus Award for Outstanding Achievement
Presented to Rita Mabli, United Hebrew President and CEO, by Iona College in 2009, the honor recognized Ms. Mabli as an alumnus who exhibited outstanding commitment to the college, and made lasting contributions to the geriatric care community.
Distinguished Leadership Award
This national honor was presented by the American College of Healthcare Administrators to Rita Mabli, United Hebrew President and CEO, for outstanding leadership of a healthcare organization.
