Wednesday, January 30 —  Centennial Kickoff Celebration

Bagpipes! Honor Guard! Rollicking pop favorites performed by Rita’s Red Scarves Singers! Yes, it was an amazing kickoff for our year-long Centennial Celebration. A standing-room-only crowd welcomed County Executive George Latimer and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson who presented United Hebrew with special awards. Meaningful remarks were delivered by several fine speakers, and a gorgeous birthday cake capped off the festivities.

Sunday, March 3 — Centennial Art Exhibition

An amazing tableau of photos and art, showcasing residents and their families.  Right here in our Lazarus Gallery. Stop by to see it!

April 16 — History Talk and Dedication of Commemorative Bench

Barbara Davis, New Rochelle’s official historian, offered up “A Century Unfolds” history presentation; an artistic Commemorative Bench was dedicated. The bench is a true work of art, fashioned by our residents’ hands.

We honored those dedicated to supporting our mission to treat everyone—residents, their families, our staff, and those in the wider community—with kindness and respect.

June 4 “I Do, Take Two”

As we are re-committing ourselves to our next 100 years, we are also helping some special couples (residents and staff) re-commit to each other! A wedding vow renewal ceremony. Champagne reception, too!

June 13 —  Doctors in Concert

By day, they save lives. After hours, they make beautiful music together.  This special concert, featuring some of the leading doctors in Westchester, is a first! Click here for more information.

Warm weather brings out the joy in all. Feast on some great BBQ, then hit the links.  A fun event for all. Click here for more information.

September — Fitness Walk

Gotta get moving, and what better way to do that but to hoof it around the track – the United Hebrew campus, that is. Hike for likes at our “Wheel and Walkathon.” (No hills, promise.)

Wednesday, November 6 — Diamond Jubilee Black Tie Gala

Save the Date! Our Diamond Jubilee will be a most gorgeous extravaganza! What better way to dress up and fess up.  Support United Hebrew of New Rochelle. It’s a community jewel!
